GeoMuseum Monte Arci “Stefano Incani”

This mineralogical and paleontological museum has been fit out in the seventeenth-century convent of the Capuchin Friars of Masullas to honor the work done by the religious in monasteries and convents for the cultural and scientific development of the West, from the European Middle Ages. The Museum is dedicated to the Monte Arci, its minerals and rocks, in which are written an ancient and complex geological history, illustrated by means of paleo- environmental reconstructions and numerous finds, mainly coming from the Collection Vincenzo Incani, who collected in this region during the last century. Are available guided tours, educational workshops for school groups, book shop, excursions.
